High school has controlled the past 4years or 160 weeks of my life. When you realize how much time has slipped through your fingers. You realize its done for good. I realized it was the end of crazy bell schedules, never ending fire alarms, the AEE mural that greets me every morning, and those hat dress codes… I guess I can say is where did the time really go? Did it fly by when I would discuss my future with Mr.Paez? Did it fly by when I would hang out with my friends in the college center? Or did it all flew by when I bought my tickets to grad night and prom? Whatever moment my brain flashes towards to. I know that time has gotten by. High school has its good and bad times. Escpecially with the seperation of “schools”. But at the same time, the ending of a chapter is bittersweet. Graduation is a giant step to the ones going to college, the military,or working full time. But graduation is also a step for the rest of our lives ahead of us. For many of us, its the beginning of new enviroments, professors, parties, all night study sessions, and paying for basically everything you need. When the momeny you get your diploma on June 9th. This is what lies ahead of us. Of course I’ll be nostalgic when I am in my dorm roon where The Killers songs play as a part of the soundtrack of my memories in high school. But being a Carson Colt (proud of being in ASA/AEE) has taught me how to free my own mind especially adapting to serious change. Where the last few years have taught me that
